on day-dreaming all the time ( or: recognizing the necessity of working [on a job, on art, etc] )

“keep your head atop of your shoulders”,
to myself i always say!
yet, it’s so hard to keep a promise,
when illusions fog the way.

eyes soaked in clouds, so good!
vision blurred with dreams
and pretty promises. how could
I dare to break this pleasure?

yet, the head! i must keep right!
there is no place for dreaming,
or for a confused sight!

(the advice?
don’t sleep when life is passing by.
remember people who got lost in life.

as he once lost everything to me,
and cries broken and in sorrow,
i may lose everything to someone else
today because of the dreaming of tomorrow.)

now, your turn!
